Right on i hear ya! Like to park that baby right next to some guys shiny camero at a car show ,real close and tight.EH EH EH EH.
Pretty cool looking 4x4. It would go great with the 70 Mach 1 4x4 that I once saw down around Petersburg, WV. - Matt
HOLY SHEEP DIP!!! Someone finally done it here in the USA. I have seen pictures of one in Brazil and My first V8 Maverick was at one time destine to be bolted on a 68 or 69 Bronco Chasis. The guy I bought it from mentioned making a 4x4 Maverick out of it but I guess he lost interest in the project and I would up with a very nice car... I know there are already a lot of If's in this thread but I will tell you flat out "IF" I had the $$$ and the wife wouldn't shoot me in the head I would have that car in my Driveway before anyone else could think about it. I wish you good luck on selling it. Who knows maybe if I get the car and the trailer and a couple other things done and taken care of before you sell it... Honestly I have a lot of trust in Fate.... But I give you Kudos.. That is officially the coolest restomod Maverick that I have ever seen
My wife took the pictures for me. She is 5 ft. 2 so she couldn't reach the engine compartment. I will try to get her a couple of phone books to stand on today to take some. The plant is just a stock 3o4 with 2 barrel.
Ohh... WOW! That looks SO BADASS! I wish I had that money... I'd be at your front door in 1 second.. Good luck with the sale!
Sold my 691/2 last week for $2000. Not bad considering I bought it about 10 years ago for .....$400. W/ 30,000 original miles. Hated to let the old girl go. Put new brakes on right after I got her, tuned her and drove off and on with about 30 mpg for about 5-6 years. Added a rebuilt ebay carb for $50, last year. The man who bought her is retiring this summer and wanted a projest. He bought one other 72 from me and two parts cars first. I priced the 691/2 high because I didn't care to keep it. He nearly shook my hand off. Not blowing my own horn, kinda just letting my feelings out. Really hate to see her go. Anyway I still have the Redneck Rock Grabber up for sale. Maybe two or three members of the club could pool their money and take this thing? Its home should be with a maverick-phile.
I absolutely cannot believe you live near Murphy, NC, and I have never heard of or seen this thing. I have quite a bit of family up that way, and am up there all the time. My grandparents live in Culberson right off Hwy. 60 and I have some more family in Copperhill, TN and Blue Ridge. I'll be up that way this Sunday, if you still have it then, I'd love to drop by and see it in person and get some more detailed pictures of it! PM me your phone number and address.
