    Got my reproduction FL-1 today from NPD ... since I use Mobil 1 and don't drive a whole lot a once a year oil change works for me. This is a good thing because the filter was $30 + shipping .... :)

    Also for that price ... the threads better be engineered to have the AutoLite logo facing forward for all to see ... :)

    looks cool though

    just as a joke i thought of bringing my comet into shop class for an oil change with one of those filters already on it looking dirty as hell. see if i can fool anyone into thinking it has original oil in it too, but they were a little out of my price range lol

    Hey Don,
    If you don't drive your Concourse Mav much during the year, are you concerned about a moisture build up in the oil?
    I have the same problem with my truck, I may drive it ~1500 miles a year. I do 2 oil changes a year. (Just to keep in practice.)
    I have a suggestion for car shows too, (and I know you want to hear this,) when you get to the show, just replace your used filter with your new one. Just remember to put the old one back on before the show is over. This way, you can keep it clean and unused for years to come.:yup:
