Hello folks ,so Bev and i go to the local indoor car show this week end and im talking to some of the tire vendors in there . I ask them if they can get me a set of Mickey Thompson ET street drag radials 255 60r 15 , they tell me no ,that there is none available in that size ,not even from M/t , is this true folks ? Id like to find a supplier or tire shop that could hook me up in Bellingham Washington State. thanks James

I just went thru the same thing on my car with that same tire in a 275/60R 15.
I had ordered them from Jegs along with my new wheels (yes, like the ones you stole from me):16suspect. Anyway, they came back and told me they were on backorder due to some type of recall or something and it may be a month or longer before they came in. I started looking around to tire dealers around the country and was getting the same info. Some places said, "yeah, no problem", only to call back the next day and give me bad news. I was starting to get a little frustrated after trying to run down these tires, then after about 2 weeks I got a message from Jegs saying they were shipping them to me. I had never canceled the original order which was good. Anyway, you might contact Jegs and see what they say. They definitely got mine to me and I love them. Good luck with them. (y)

Not sure but, about 275 maybe? The ones I have fit pretty good, could get some better pics of them if you want to see the width etc. :)

m/t does make 255/60 15. my buddy jimmy just got a set. et street radial . i used to have them on my car but now i use 275's.. they do make them but are hard to come by. they dont require any mods to the wheelwells. they fit perfect with the weld 15x8 and 4.5 backspacing

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
MT drag radials are listed as 255's becuase they are measured in nominal width in millimeters. where as the street ET's use letters like truck and tractor tires.. they do that to make the D.O.T. Legal since they are "considered" truck tires.

and actually the 255/60-15 drag radial is really just a 26x10.5-15

er you better make sure you are measuring your backspacing right becuase 4.5 backspacing with 255'son 15x8 rub the leafsprings.

then again i don't know what i'm talking about since i've tried it like twice on my car just to make sure i wasn't crazy and another maverick owners as well. but who is to say i'm right...lol! just go do it. lol!
