well here's my ride. 71 mav. '86 302 H.O. C-4 2800 stall, shift kit, Krylon paint job, leaky p.s. lines, missing interior peices and all! i've owned this car for around 5 years but i just got it back this last summer. ya see i ditched it here in central Wa., some 4 years ago while still living in Colorado. i just moved back here (Wa) last year and my pops gave the car back to me. he's a Mustang guy. i've allways been into the Falcons and just never really thought about fixing up this car until i found this website a couple months ago. so, yeah, you guys inspired me to give it a go. lots of very nice Mav's on here! the car started out a V8 but i replaced the original motor with the 5.0 roller to kick things off then replaced a few body parts and added a few guages, steering wheel and cool new shifter from my other Falcon to keep me inspired. the body was primer grey when i last owned it but i guess my dad got bored one day and went to town with the rattle cans making it the blue it is now. (gonna be fun doing body work now) i like the wheels i got on it now but the problem is the back tires are very "vintage", nobody makes that size any more and they need replaced. 265/50/14.......... ugh... anyhow, there it is. one less going to the crusher. -V
You need to meet up with us at the Colby Cruize, in Everett,Wa.... Look under Mini Meets & events. The website is posted with all the info. It's Memorial Day weekend....
i'd love to go if i can get my hands on some new tires in time! my front tires are new but the rear's are 30 years old. not kidding. surprised they still hold air! i bet if i popped one of them i might hear the faint sound of disco music!
Nice lokking car. Whereabouts in Washington. I used to live in Bremerton and Port Orchard about 18 years ago.
nice car looking car! got to come to cruzin to colby, i'll be there and a bunch of others like coop said
that thing is sweet, my uncles is also a big falcon fan he has a 66futura 2dr. with a 200ci we just redid the interior last weekend
I've got those 265/50 R14s on my 14x8 wheels. BFG stopped making that size, but you could go with a 245/60 instead and it will be a little taller and not quite as wide. Not expensive either.
