I see now that it is a blaster 2,, those dont work on the 6AL huh? I have the 6AL on my Cyclone,, dont remember what coil,, maybe the regular blaster. Dan
I am running a Blaster 2 with a 6AL. The only difference between the 6 and 6AL is the rev-limiter. The instruction manual even shows a Blaster II with the 6AL www.msdignition.com/pdf/6 series/6series.pdf
I have been running a MSD distributor w/o vaccuum advance, MSD 6A ignition box, and MSD Blaster II coil since I built my car. It's held up 5 years now with no problems. I believe strongly in trying to keep the parts matched by manufacturer. Ken
All I know is that in the Summit catalog it says, that the 8203 (which is what I have) is for stock ignition, and the 8202 is for MSD ignitions. There both Blaster 2 coils, but one may be a higher output??? I just didn't want to sell something that wasn't going to work the way it should.
