I have been running a MSD distributor w/o vaccuum advance, MSD 6A ignition box, and MSD Blaster II coil since I built my car. It's held up 5 years now with no problems. I believe strongly in trying to keep the parts matched by manufacturer.

All I know is that in the Summit catalog it says, that the 8203 (which is what I have) is for stock ignition, and the 8202 is for MSD ignitions. There both Blaster 2 coils, but one may be a higher output??? I just didn't want to sell something that wasn't going to work the way it should.
