help!!!

    hi everyone,got a problem.getting ready to paint my dash and i have everything off,except the winshield wiper button.is there a trick to getting this thing off?it looks like if you can get the knob off,the chrome bezel unscrews like the headlight bezel.any help is appreciated.thank you...chuck.

    Well Chuck, I always thought they made masking tape for just such problems:D
    Seriously though I thought they just pulled off with a little effort...you got me.

    hey rick,the masking tape is my next option!i thought about pulling it ,but wasn't sure if i would destroy it.oh by the way,your doors are looking good.take care...chuck.

    If you look on the back side of the knob, you will see what looks like a part of a small washer sticking out a little. Take a small screw driver and push this washer (or flatten it, so to speak) toward the backside of the knob, while you put outward pressure on the knob itself to pull it off. It will come right off.
