I would like to upgrade to duel exhaust on my 76 4 door with 302 & c4. The car currently has the complete original exhaust system on it including the original cat, muffler and (2nd muffler near the bumper cant think of the correct name for this...sorry).

Source for pipe from exhaust manifold to cats?

Will classic mustang / cougar tail pipes etc work?

    Thanks

the second one is know as a resonator

there is no kit you can buy without having to modify it...its even worse for a 4dr

heres my exhaust system cost me $60 its not the best but its not the worst plus it sounds great....

or just buy a pair of mufflers(you can get them as cheap as $20/pair at junkyards) and have you local muffler shop make you a system($200 and up)

That's a cool looking system. I guess I was wondering if the pipes that connect to the exhaust manifold from a classic mustang w/302 & c4 would work on the maverick. I am aware that there will be a fair amount of fabrication.

    Thanks

Does that mean you aim the exhaust tips to shoot at each other? :D

there are a few guys who have modified summits 64-73 mustang header back system to work(with full length headers of course). if i were you tho i'd just take a trip down to the local muffler shop and see what they can do and how much.
