Ok i have had this problem since i put the car together and i guess it's just bothered me enough to finally chase it down. First off when you turn the ignition switch on the parking lighs come on with the headlight switch off,but here's the twist if i pull the headlight switch on with the key off i can turn on the heater blower motor Now i realize that i have something feeding power to these but what i don't have is a electrical shematic to run through to see whats what. Any help to the area i should be looking in would be great. Thanks Derek.

Look around your radio. sounds like the light circuit of radio is hooked up to both. Look over all wiring an see if any mods were made, any spliced in wiring is a good place to start. Good luck an keep us posted

Cool thanks for the links guys.The wiring harness appeared to be in great condition when i put it in the car and i never cut into it really.All my accesories (electric fan,line lock,radio,etc..) run off of a separate fuse box with their own harnesses.But who knows what has happend with a car over the years. eletrical bugs Check/test the turn signal switch. Lots of stuff runs thru there and when they go bad, goofy things happen. pull hl switch and wipers come on, ect... just a thought
I've had crazy things happen with a bad ignition switch.....ie. turn vehicle off and brake lights turn on. Found a schematic....almost all circuts run through the ignition switch.
