I got into Mavericks because they were not your run of the mill Mustang or Camero etc, I had a 61 Falcon Futura before the Maverick it was the same story with it not many running ,around and when people talk to you about your Maverick or Comet they say you just dont see them anymore and they are basically right, whenever I cruise someplace I try to make it a mission to see at least one Mav or Comet by taking backroads and the unbeaten paths and searching fields and when I see one on the road I always want to chase it down and talk to the owner, most the time when you see one they are just a beater but every once and awhile you see a real jewel.

I am glad that there are not a lot of Mavs and Comets around because if there was our cars would not be so special.
