Leaving in a few hours for a nice motorcycle trip. Was going to head north to Niagara Falls and then over to the Adirondacks. Weather killed those plans. So we are heading south following the Blue Ridge Parkway and on down to the Great Smoky Mountains. For those that sent money for parts, if I've received it, its sent. For those that just mailed it, I will send them out when I get back. Should be back by the 26th.
Back in 80 I ran the Blue Ridge Parkway, real nice ride with lots of great pic taking! Enjoy your trip an semi vacation! It's a semi one cause you'll still be car watching-dealing!!
Sounds like fun I wonder if he will come back with a story about a barn he found full of Smokey Mountain Mavs (and Comets)...

Made it back OK. Had a light tan colored Comet GT behind me somewhere around Madisonville. It was a 71 or 72 and had one of those Mach 1 type spoilers mounted on the back. Belong to anyone here? Was an absolute blast. Road the Tail of the Dragon a couple of times. For bike lovers, it dont get much better than that. Will post more about the trip later, Too much to do right now.
