    Well we should finally get the track open this week (rainouts) and be able to post a new personal best # I am expecting to hit 6.xxx in the 1/8th mile!
    Fresh engine and new tube frame ladderbar backhalf lightened up a bit and looking for low 1.4 sixty foot times! Will post some pics after the weekend:cool:

    Fired the car last night only to have the Holley Blue crap out, got a new one in and good to go! The 3" exhaust with bullets and X pipe sounds awesome! Also noticed I had a 6200 rpm chip in the MSD6AL...now I know why it fell off at 345HP at the wheels, 7000 chip goes in tomorrow for raceday...update to come tomorrow night!

    Everything! Tube frame ladder bars 29.5 X 10.5W slicks tucked nicely and 5.14 gears with Fresh 306 engine!:D

    The car wieghed in at 2684 lbs + me at a slim :yup: and trim 270 :D= 2954 lbs
    Looks like the sun is gonna shine all day, Boogity Boogity Boogity Let's Go Racin!

    First pass we lost the waterpump drive pulley off the electric motor, came back with temp at 225! Spun the pump by hand to cool it...borrowed a pulley from another racer and all was good again. No more changes were made for the day but we were running really rich. Notes to self...electric waterpump and jet the carb! Also the torque converter is stalling too low so time to call Len Bertrand and get that going also!
