Our daughter has a 74 Mav and it only has some of the seat belt pieces still in it. We need to get her seat belts ASAP because she wants to drive it everywhere and everyone wants to ride in it. We need the female plugs all the way around, front and back, and the lap and shoulder strap for the driver's side. The current set is black. Can anyone help us to find where we can get ones to replace the missing pieces or let us know what other ford models would have the same system in them? The clips are the ones with the small square openings and we don't know which buckle style it is because they have all been taken out. Otherwise which company is best to just order new ones from if we have to replace all the pieces. In the back seat the straps retract into the wall, I don't know if that's normal but those pieces are there in the wall there is just nothing to plug them into. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
I imagine the style of belts you have had the buckles that were very prone to breakage. It was a style used in 1973 and early 1974. They are impossible to find used. The only thing I can recommend is to change out all the seats belts to another style.
I have pictures of the ones that we are looking for. If you have the whole set and they are in good condition I think we would like to buy them, then if they don't fit with what we have we could just install these instead. Please let me know what pieces you have. Thanks!
