I found one in a junk yard and was thinking about using it. Am i correct in that the biggest thing that has to be done is to move the spring perches to line up with the leaf springs?
i thought that a 58 inch axel in the early broncos would fit, isent that around the same size as a granada 9"?
What are the dimension on your rear end-to-end? I have a Bronco 9" rear in my attic, and it is exactly 1" longer on each side, and was wondering what year it was. I was thinking of cutting my axle tubes off my 8" and putting them on my 9" housing, and putting in a limited slip 9" gear.
If its only 2 inches longer over all like scoops' you could relocate the spring perches and mount it like you planned. You will just need to get wheels with the proper backspace to compensate for the extra width.Scoops swap the tubes idea is a popular course of action.
If i was to use this would there be any way to change the front to go along with the 5 1/2 pattern, and is that a pattern to hard to find rims for?
