I mentioned this website to the owner, hope he shows up and posts some pictures, cause these dont capture how nice it was. Seen heading to NY on the GW bridge.

The car belongs to Douglas Hunt, He had it at Carlisle. Very nice car indeed.

Yep......MCCI member (see decal in corner of rear flip out window) Doug Hunt. He had the car at Carlisle as Dennis mentioned. I have sold him lots of parts over the years. I didn't get a chance to talk to him though.

I talked to Doug as well and man was he upset about the way the judging and stuff went at Carlisle. I wasn't there for all of that but they did put the Mavericks/Comets in a bad location. That car was super sweet. Probably should have won some sort of award at the Carlisle show.

Doug seems like a very nice guy and he said IF it is possible, Gas and trailering and all that he would like to come to the RoundUp but he said with the price of gas and trailering the car and being afraid that the it will get messed up from Road debris he just wasn't sure if he would make it but he seemed interested

Any time you have participant voting, you have to realize its personal opinion. Really has less to do with how well your car is done compared to someone else. If the majority of the people who vote are red fanatics, chances are that a nice red car will place higher than a ground up restored green car. I personally dont care for any judging. Just show up and enjoy the cars is my philosophy.
