Well...Saturday me and my father went to "Recuperation Dorval" (a junkyard 40 min from us). The junkyard was supposed to have a couple of Maverick/Comet. Here is a couple of pictures that i took:

This Comet GT has seen better days:

We took the hood and trunk lid from this Maverick:

We also saw a Grabber that was completly stripped. Only the shell was remaining.

So far, we bring back a hood, a trunk lid, 2 sun visor and a battery hold down.

Yesterday (Sunday) we went to my grand parents for father days. We stop by a Walmart and guess what....we found the motormax Stallion on a trailer with the pickup! :yahoo:

It was a good weeked :D

He oui!! Avec l'hiver qu'on a eu, Mr. Dorval me disait que plusieurs ont écrasé sous le poid de la neige.

    English version: :D

With the winter that we had, Mr. Dorval told me that a lot of car crushed under the weight of the snow.

Couple rear window defoggers with the control panels intact. What about the Comet hood trim that is laying on the rear window of the Comet in picture 11?

The engine bay was pretty smashed up...the 302 was still there... we were short on time...but if we come back this summer, we will try to get other part...but the owner is not negociable and the part are a litle bit pricey...

if you go back grab the control panel and switch for the rear window defogger ( grab the fan unit too). i might be needing the controls for my next one.

    Half a fish...

That was the first thing I saw... I wanted a Javelin before I got my Comet... but I could never quite get around the weird body proportions of the 71 and later Javelins... long front end and short rear end... that one sitting up there has a REALLY short rear end...
