1971 Gt ???

    I did something I said I would never do. I bought what is said to be a 1971 Comet GT over the phone. I had a new one back in 1971 and had a lot of fun with it.I have been looking for years and found that most have been run into the ground. Wish me luck and I will let you how it goes.

    I was in a similar situation. My first car was a 71 Comet GT and I loved that car. I looked for a long time and got one from a member here several months ago. I never saw the car until it arrived but he sent a lot of pics that helped me to determine the condition of the car. If you can see pics, that will let you know some things. Also from talking on the phone I could tell the seller was a great person and he even work with me so I could arrange shipping the Comet. My experience turned out great and I hope your does too.

    I live in Harlan, about 45 miles east of Omaha.The water is not real bad around me, but I am 45 miles miles from the Little Sioux boy scout ranch that hit by the torando. Maybe the Comet has been on here before, its white with black vinyl top and red interior,v8/auto. The guy also has a red 71 GT,so does anyone know of them? Thanks Vince Pictures , I think I have some of my 71 when it was new I will look.
