I test drove my MAv today for the first time in months of restoration. on my way home I noticed a few things to be corrected, 1st the Carbon fiber grabber hood lifts at the back like air is pushing it to open at the cowl (scary) that happens at 60 or plus MPH. 2nd, Sometimes out of the blue the engine starts to missfire like if you give gas it puffs in the intake (sound like it's coming from the intake) for a few seconds and then it clears. 3rd my rear end is way too high 3:00 driven by an 302 H.0 EFI and a T5 for trans at 60 Mph if my speedometer is right the RPM is only around at 1300 1400's. 4rth It needs wheel aligment but that's no big deal, and for last but not least my headers gets caught in my sidewalk going in the drive way.
Oh, almost forgot i need a BIGGER Cooling fan in traffic mine goes on and won't go off keeping the temp at 220F-210F untill i start driving again then the temp drops to 185F. today's temp in Boston was around the 90's or more and humid too! so it was warm.
Ok so any suggestions will be welcome:thumbs2:

sounds like some overall good progress. as for your #2 problem, i would start with the timing. sounds like it may be a bit high for the engine. :) good luck with it and hope to hear about more progress and maybe some pictures (y)

Just installed a bigger fan with shroud from a 94 caravan that worked great!(y) also installed new o2 sensors an adjusted timing a little bit and now runs good.:thumbs2: Now I just need to do wheel aligments and install an alarm I need that on my neighborhood:( `
Oh,, I also re adjusted the hood and it didn't move @ 80 MPH so that should be solved.
