    Edit: Post #43 has a new video clip of one of my best passes yet...a 7.09

    Well...I finally made it to the track to try out the 347. Unfortunately I only got to make two passes before the bottom fell out (RAIN). The first pass wasn't that great because it started cutting up around 5k. I did a minor carb adjustment and left the air cleaner off for my next run. Much better! My reaction time sucks but the car ran strong!!!
    1st pass:
    et=7.649
    RT=.5089 (Stunk)
    60ft=1.828
    330ft=5.225
    mph=82.73
    2nd pass:
    et=7.269
    RT=.2989 (Better but still not good)
    60ft=1.741
    330ft=4.978
    mph=88.07
    Gotta work on my launches with that 4 speed. Do a little tuning and figure out where my CalTracs need to be. I think with a little practice I might be able to get some 7.0's. :)

    I was lucky to get a chance to see the car and hear it run (the pictures make it look nice, but in real life, it is a DAYUM nice car inside and out!!!:thumbs2:), but didn't get a chance to watch it run. Wish the wife and I could have stayed to see that.

    Glad it ran well on the first runs(y)

    Nope...changed out to 3.89's. Works out much better for the street. I can actually drive the car on the Interstate a little better. Needed that bad for Cruisin The Coast which is right around the corner. :)

    Was that with street tires? if so that is very respectable for first runs. Get a set of slicks and dump the clutch at 5 grand then you will have some real fun, maybe even break a thing or 2. LOL But yeah real key is practice you can have the fastest car in the world but if you dont know how to drive it it might as well be the slowest.

    1/4 mile much more fun

    But that WAS 1/4 time!!! :rolleyes:
    J/K...I do have some M/T ET Street Radials and they were hooking pretty good. I just gotta figure out how much I can get out of it before they do break loose. Two passes don't do it for me. I think I'll try a few gallons of go juice when I go back too....if I can afford it. :)
