Does anyone know a good muffler that will produce a sound like a flowmaster? I need a new exhaust for my 351w. I am on a slight budget.

    Thanks...

I like Walker Dynomax mufflers. The 3 chamber ones. Very mellow rumble at idle and all speeds.

Most all 2 chamber mufflers are going to have a nasty annoying drone at certain rpms.

The cherry bomb pro has a very nice Flowmaster type sound.

I personally think they sound better. I dont run flowmaster anymore becasuse I like theyre tone better. It has more of a smooth tone but still has a throaty bite to it

Flowmasters sound like Flowmasters. If your going to spend the money, why spend half as much for crap, just bite the bullet and buy what you want, building a car isn't cheap, no excuses, if you can't afford it buy an Xbox and stay at home in your parents basement.

yep 3 chamber(50 series[delta one also have less drone]) ones have less of a drone...the thrush chambered one have a nasty drone at off idle-1500 RPM 4 times worse than the flows which usually have it between 1K-1200RPM...but it doesn't bother me much...:bouncy:

Flowtech afterburners have a very "flowmaster-ish" sound to them,a bit raspier though if you run tailpipes.Turned down at the rear they're almost a dead ringer for flowmasters.
