They came with a 302 stock so you should be able to just make sure everything is in good order. Might want to add the engine belly bar. It came on the v8 cars but not the 6 cylinder cars, but the bolt holes are already there.:)

in older mustangs there were alot of difrences between v8 and 6cyl suspensions but i think by the time mavericks came around everything was just about the same across all models

since your cars going faster i'd look into a front disc swap so you can stop faster too

Sommething else you may have to change is the radiator if you have heating issues.:)

I agree with that one front disks make a world of difference. Probably be easier to find a 5 lug over a four lug for the swap, if you do swap the rear axle also so all four tires have the 5 lug pattern.

well mavericks never had rear discs so youve got some custom work to do. something like 80% of your stopping power comes from the front breaks anyway. i personally could be satasfied with good amout of HP and still have drums in the back. if you have ambitions of making some kind of sports car though theyd probably be a good idea

that and a correctly set up cooling system overall. Either you can run an electric fan, or you can run one off your waterpump. If you run one off your waterpump make sure you have the fan shroud.
