Does anyone know if the converter has a drain plug on it i would like to do a complete tranny flush I took the inspection plate off and spun the converter around and the only thing i saw was a funny looking Plastic plug but it didnt seem to want to come out .

    anyone else ever try this.

    Thanks Danielle

Nope, I don't think C-4's have a plug on the converter, none of the one's I've had did.

    Thanks Dave

I am headed out to put the inspection plate on and call it good with just a new pan filter and gasket.

The early C4s were equipped with either one or two drain plugs but Ford quit using them in the later models. They can be added to any converter if you know where and how to install them. I perform that service on request.
