Just in case some people missed it......

The Polar Bear, The Crazy Canuk, the one the only RON Perrier(I hope I spelled that right)

Is the Bracket Drag race Champ this year @ the MCG(MaverickCometgroup) Gathering.

Man did his head swell up after beating out 2 time champ John Ford

I had to butter up the door to the room to get his fat head through:D

    Ron did good

The look on his face and the victory lap with the high 5 line was one of the best moments I have ever had :)

I was planning to take pinky out again this year, but Ron beat me to it. :D Not that it mattered. I drew the 4 door in round 1, and now understand how hard it is to wait for your lights to come on against a much slower car -- I red lit by .03 seconds. I was so far ahead I was sure I broke out, but I didn't. I had already lost and Jim probably already knew it. :D

And the food was good too. I never got to make a full pass down the track. Had electrical problems. But the car sounded good and ran like heck until 3rd gear then it just broke up and I had to let off. New engine blues. jmgford, I still can't get over how nice your car is. Gets my vote for sleeper of the Gathering. I don't think anyone expected 11's from such a nice car.

Where is Ron?? You'd think he'd post by now?? Maybe they stopped him at the border for a cavity search, since he was probably still smiling from ear to ear???
