When was the last time that someone posted just to say that this is a great place.

The people are friendly. I can ask stupid questions and get answers that don't make me feel like I am being talked down to. Even if it does seem like someone is talking down to me I just take it with a BLOCK of salt and understand that sometimes that is the only way that something can be said.

All in all I am so very glad that I found this place and want to say thank you from the deepest and most sincere part of my heart to those people that keep this place running.

I second that. Being a girl sometimes guys tend to talk down to me if I ask a question about my mav. But here all the guys are super great and have kept me from making a few really big mistakes. Thanks

    I concur!!

I agree. Men in general think we women can't possibly understand mechanics. I'm glad the men here are different. Thanks guys... and girls, for making me feel so welcome.

Hey old folks are more welcome than new folks IMO because they have more wisdom and experience to offer;)

What???? there's females on this board??:D Now I'm going to have to put my shirt back on... J/K. Its good that the ladies are taking a liking to these cars. :D I've have always enjoyed the comraderie on this site, and the good natured rubbie that sometimes happens. Lots of good info, with lots of people willing to help each other. I know I've learned more about my car in the last 7 years than I ever thought I could. Keep up the good works folks, and we'll be here for a long time to come. Russ:clap:

You don't have to put your shirt back on Russ. It keeps us females inspired.:D All kidding aside, this is a great board with many great people. I have made new friends and learned more from this board than I ever could anywhere else. This is the first place I come to in the morning when I fire up the 'puter and one of the last places I visit at night. When I was into Mustangs, I found the other Mustang owners to be somewhat snotty and aloof. Not all of them, but enough to make me feel uncomfortable sometimes. That is not the case with my fellow Maverick and Comet owners. Here I feel like I have an extended family who will welcome new members and try to help each other out another as much as they can. Maverick owners are a special breed of people and it makes me proud to be one of them.  :bananaman

Yep, I LOVE this message board. I couldn't have finished my car without the resources I found here. I completely agree with the extended family part - it's great. I also find it fun to see who else is on at crazy parts of the night looking at Mav stuff - it reassures me that I am not the only one crazy (or obsessed, I'm not sure... :D ) enough to be on at around two in the morning! I am so happy I found this place when I bought my car. Thanks to everyone! You're friendship, advice, thoughtfulness, kindness, input, and characters have made this an awesome place to hang out. :) Kudos to Stefan for putting up with us, and caring enough to make this place happen. :bananaman
