After a long 30 minute drive I made it back home from the Roundup. I want to thank the MCCI board and all its members that attended for all their help in making this years Roundup possible and very enjoyable. The weather was great all week! Drag night was a blast and very historic with the first woman winning the crown. The tour of DC and riding the Duck was unbelievable, my daughter Amber and everyone else that got a chance, will never forget being able to drive the Duck on the Potomac. As always, show day was filled with amazing cars and even more amazing people who all worked together for a successful Roundup. The Saturday night cruise to the race track was fun in itself but being able to drive our cars around the track and show off to everyone the greatest cars ever made was priceless. The cars are what brings us together but the people and friendships that are created are what the Roundup is all about. I love my Maverick/Comet family!!!!!!:thumbs2:

Took me an hour. Although it has been nice to have such a short trip home for the last 2 Roundups, I'm am looking forward to traveling west next year. Cant wait!!! I will make all effort to get the Comet GT done so I can drive to the Roundup once again instead of trailering the car.

    Congratulations Nick!

Thanks again Nick for a successful Roundup again this year, every aspect of the event went smooth and stress free. I know Nick is looking forward to letting someone else host next year, he had spent a lot of time and effort over the past two years and deserves it!:clap::clap:

As for next year, we have one Proposal and are hoping to get more before we decide where the 16th annual Roudup will be held.

It was great seeing eveyone again this year. I took a lot of pics and some video I hope to post in the near future as I'm sure many other will also.

I hope eveyone made it home safe and sound from the Gathering and the Roundup!

Fantastic job Nick! I miss everyone. 14 hours and 15 minutes to get home. 1978 miles roundtrip. Get home and storm is brewing, tornados and straight line winds of 70 mph. Damage all around, I am surprised I have power! Oh, and Judy just tells me a small airplane nearly hit my garage yesterday:yikes:. She even called the state police it was so close. I am totally beat, but it is a good feeling. Cannot wait to see everyone next year!!

Well, I'm not home yet*, but I wanted say that I too had a really great time!

Glad you folks made it home safely.

I'm in Beckley, WV. Going to set up base here for a couple of days and take a few daytime tours--coal mines, state parks, etc. Maybe some antique stores.

    *1250 miles to go.

I got home by 2pm. I've been catching up with the family-and setting up the work week. I will get more pics posted during the week. Too late to get started on that now. I gave you guys 2 at 1am this morning to give you an idea of the fun time that was had by all.

I came without the Comet this year. Even though this is an auto event, I had just as good of a time as I have at the other 3 past Roundups that I have been lucky to attend. It's about cars, but the people are what make it special.

Be sure to ask about Pat Roby locating his build sheet-in perfect condition-under his seat during show day. Craig and a few others helped him decipher what his options were from the factory.

    Good times indeed!

Spied it under the drivers seat when looking for my lost keys! Remembered it was there at the Round-Up. I put it in plastic that night right next to the dealer window sticker. Great show/great people and thanx to everyone who put it on...
