What is the length of driver side axle? I have 3 different sources give 3 different lengths.
25&36/64. 25&12/64, 25&24/64. I don't have a spare one to measure for myself and need to order a pair. Is the pass. side 29&3/4?
They will be installed into a shortened 9" housing.
    Thanks,
    Jerry

I measured mine the other day when I had em out. They were approx 25 & 1/2 and 29 & 1/2.
That's the measurements I'll use when I order mine.

Hey Jerry, just started cleaning out the parts shed and found a set of axles for a Mav. Using a straight edge on top of the splined end, measured down to the wheel side of the flange. Came out to 25 9/16, not sure if a 1/16th either way will make a difference considering the amount of spline that is inserted into the spool unless it is a mini spool with a pin going thru it. Saved those 8in axles for spares for the fairmont, shortned up that 9in to use them. Lot's of passes on the one's that are in there, but with 9in slicks and 28 spline, plus small bearing ends, figured I better put in some Moser 31 spline, when I get done with the suspension upgrades and bigger tires. Have fun and stay cool, has been 100+ and 110 heat index here. Strange adj. front struts are supposed to be here tomorrow and then I can measure the diameter of them and order the correct coil over conversion kit. 3 to 4 hour's of work in the AM is about all I can stand in this heat.

Thanks Ray & Dave. Yeppers, hot here too. If I didn't have a window unit AC in the garage I couldn't stand going down there. Good luck with the front end.
