71-73 Mustang A-Arms. I have to question what you are getting on a $1400 wheel alignment though. :hmmm:

I hope they are rebuilding the front end for that price.

Yea, I would hope that's an entire new front suspension, installed for that price. Alignment on my '72 cost like 70 bucks... I bought a suspension rebuild kit for a '71 Mustang, which cost about $380 IIRC, installed it myself.

if he could do this, all he would need is a 60-$70 alignment..:thumbs2:

Yes they were going to rebuild the front end complete...but i looked better and found a front end rebuild kit that was just under $600 dollars...Where was that one you found Jamie...and how well does it work.

    was it easy to install

That's the kit I bought. Not sure if it went down in price, or I just don't remember what I paid (probably the later :p ).

It was pretty easy to install. I'd say the part I liked the least was compressing and removing the coil springs so I could replace the upper control arms. It wasn't hard... just kind of scary. I rented a spring compressor from the local Advance Auto. The old ball joints and stuff may give you some grief also trying to get them loose. I'd suggest replacing the inner and outer tie rod ends at the same time, and it's a good time to get new shocks and stuff like that while you have it apart anyway. I installed front disc brakes at the same time also. After I got it back together and aligned, it was amazing how much better the car drove. It was like a totally different car. Make sure you get rubber strut rod bushings, do not use poly strut rod bushings on the street.
