I put some after market wheels I had in the garage on the new car today.
My whole life the first thing I would do with a new car is pull the steel whees and install mag wheels. But after swapping today I am not sure which I like better. The steel wheels or mags. What do you all think? :hmmm:

I like the steel wheels!! If you don't like it right away, you'll never like it.

in all honesty i think i actually like the dog dishes a little better, but thats not to say the new rims look bad at all either.

aluminum slots are my favorite rims on these cars, followed closly by dog dishes :)

I am with you on the slots. By far my favorite wheel. I have 15x8
and 15x4 fat's and skinny's on my '73. Every one(well every car guy)
that see's the '73 wants to buy the slots. Never ask about the car
just will I sell the wheels.:rofl2:

I think the new rims give the car that nice fresh modern look, But if you are old school, the Dog dish or Magnums more era correct. Looks good both ways!

If you would drop the front of the car about 1- 1 1/2 inches, then I vote new wheels.

I like the steel wheels over those particular mags. To me they look dated, which is often a good thing, but I don't think they're dated in the right decade. To me those wheels would look great on something with hard lines like an 80's S10, Fox Mustang or third gen Camaro, Monte Carlo SS, etc...
