CJs Pony Parts sell repopped Mustang floor pans, and it looks like it is the same piece for all years 64-73 ... http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb...~S2FO0DRVD424967113216b~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50000016e They also sell smaller sections for about $30 each if you don't need the whole thing.
What are those plugs for? Does anyone actually expect to flood their car and have to use a drain to let the water out?
Jig locater holes. The holes properly locate the pan on a fixture so the rails can be welded on in the proper orientation during build/assembly.Afterward the holes are covered with a rubber plug or ametal plate and a couple sheet metal screws...mustang pans work... I put 65 mustang pans in my mav, trim the inboard edge off(tunnel side) untill it fits between the rocker and tunnel. The mustang had a wider pan than the mav. Also the pinch rail(lip at the rocker sideof the new pan)needs to bent upward if you want it to look correct, otherwise leave it alone and weld it to the rocker from under the car instead of inside the car.
i just bought a bead roller and a shrinker strecher, im gonna try my hand at fabbing....... hpe it works out for me lol
