Where do GREMLINS live? They always surface when I touch anything electrical! I installed the dizzy and box and now my water temp gauge shoots to 250* as soon as the engine starts. That is typically a ground yes? I rewired it and same result

I did install a new lower profile sending unit with the new dizzy. Could that be bad?

As an aside, what a difference the MSD makes!! Unreal from a simple bolt-on.

Could be the wrong resistance/thermistor senser. Do not use Teflon tape, pipe dope, or any other material on the threads on the sending unit.
