Windsheild Removal

    Can the windsheild be taken out without breaking it? I have a friend who helps me with most stuff and he told me you cant pull a windsheild without breaking it? :hmmm:

    You definitely can remove a windshield without breaking it. Pull the trim and cut the outside of the gasket away from the glass. Then the glass will pop out. I've removed them by myself many times, no big deal if you take your time and are careful. Good luck.

    Some people try to pull glass and SAVE the weatherstripping ... they are prone to break if you do that. Like Corbin said ... take a razor and just cut all the old weathstripping off the glass ... and the glass should come right out.

    Unfortunately......your friend is correct. The only way to remove the glass is to break it.
