It showed up, headed to the crusher. I saw the poor thing, this is crazy. Way to straight to crush. got in, interior is way clean. Turned the key, and it fired right up. Golly gee, it runs??

Further info, 57,000 original miles. 302/auto 4 dr.

    No reverse.

Drove it a few miles, drives real nice. I will keep it.

It took 28 years but I finally ended up owning a Ford.

Now to clear out the shop and start fixing a few things.
Pictures when I can get the camera....

    What's to finish?

I might drive it past my local body shop and see if they would mind ironing out a few minor wrinkles on the right side. Possibly replace the windshield (car came with a new one in back seat).

Mechanical stuff: Fix reverse. Make sure everything else is road worthy. Turn it into my daily driver. Me being 6 foot, there really isn't that much leg room in the thing. I have driven worse..... (my jeep for example).

Thanks for the warm welcome!
