    more beside the rode again...:D
    took a ride today to try the new...MSD 6A...and Jeff road with me..:thumbs2:

    half way home i threw a belt off the alt....Effie brought me my tool kit and after looking in it i found out the 5/8" wrench was not there....my Sweetie...(that I Love Berry Berry much) returned home to get it for me...
    why is it everyone that comes by, you know? :hmmm:
    they all stopped to see if they could help but no one had a 5/8" wrench...
    people that stopped that i didn't know, didn't have a 5/8" wrench...
    soooooooooooo they stopped for what reason...:huh:
    the two people that called (Earl and Jay (Mavdog71)while i was on the side of the road didn't have a 5/8" wrench that i could use...:cry:

    home now...2 new belts and a 5/8" wrench in my tool kit.
    there is a story that came from the parts store but i will let Jeff tell it..it was his doings...:yup:

    ...:outtahere::drive: :chirp:

    So the only difference the MSD made was to make it throw belts?

    I had a 5/8 wrench you could have used. All you had to do was come and get it.:burnout:

    While getting belts at the parts store 3 people on their way from Birmingham to Savannah walked in asked the counter guy where could they find a shop that is open to fix their 98 Explorer. She said the engine was revving up high then idle back down. Frank, being Frank, told them it sounds like a throttle position switch gone bad and volunteer us to go look at it. We cross the busy street to the convenient store to take a look. Now I know what a TPS is, but I ain't got any idea what they look like. My Maverick or Falcon does not have one. I looked down and saw the throttle cable end sticking out sideways out of a plastic box on the fender apron. I put it back into the box and turn the plastic cap to lock it back on the plastic box with my hand. Frank said try it now... She said she jump up and down if that was what’s wrong and then she started the engine. It took every bit of 10 seconds to fix. Most of that time was spent looking for the throttle cable. Frank told her to jump up and down...and she did and then we left.
