Yeah, forgot about that.... Anyway 24 is still a lot more than what will actually make it. It's a shame that more of those "top" cars didn't get submitted though.

...And is it a clusterf$ck? Really? It all looked like it was going just fine to me, other than a handful of people not wanting to participate.

I tried to sit here and pick the cars I liked the best and had a hard time putting the Gallery pics to the numbers. I finally gave up. And it's hard to understand why there are pics to vote on that are only an interior shot or part of a car. This is meant as constructive criticism. :)

The interior shot is mine. I wanted it to be inserted into one of the exterior pictures, but I didn't know how to do that. Calendars in the past had insets of the interior or engine along with the car photos. I thought when the calendar was assembled my interior shot would be used that way.

I didn't know how the judging would be done, so I posted a lot of photos to give the judges a choice. If I knew that votes would be limited to 13 out of all the photos, I would have posted one exterior photo with the insert of my interior photo. By posting so many pictures, I split up the votes on my car and hurt my chances to get in.

I agree with you Roz. That's why I was saying that. Not that they shouldn't be there but the way the voting is if you vote for the interior shot, you lose a vote for a car of the month pic. BTW, I like your car, Roz.:)

everything turns CF when you try to make everyone happy. The calender is a great idea and I do care but, to many POS's in the begining plus I didn't have time to get a good quality photo. I will still buy some and will be happy to have it. I voted like a good mavericker should.

Press on and do your best we will all be happy thanks Jimmy and blugene

I don't think it is fair to call someone else's car a POS (even if that isn't directed at my Grabber).

Those of us who posted our car's pix did so because we are proud of them and love them. Some are daily drivers and some are being restored, and some can't afford to restore them yet, but nobody deserves to be insulted for wanting other Maverick lovers to appreciate their car as much as they do.

Actually, I voted for the interior shot...

Ok, so we all know what opinions are worth...

But I find variety in a calendar to be a good thing. There is more character in these cars than can be seen in the typical statically posed side profile. Interior shots, racing shots, wheelie shots, restoration progress shots, etc. There's only so many pristine Grabber hoods you can look at over a year...
