Ok...it is Ford Red not Chevy. I was giving bmcdaniel a hard time about the color of the heads when I bought them...they were this color. I'm sorry...you have good taste.

Anyway, here is the motor that is going in the Mav. I am not done with it, there is a lot of detail work left to go. I can't wait to slide this into the 77.

Yep, the cougar is dirty. The cat on the hood scares the crap out of my youngest and I figure this is going to be a good way to keep him away from it....he love wrenches and screw-drivers.

I just hope it runs half as fast as it looks! Yes, that is about the color of the car...its going to be red overload except the interior. I normally dont really like red but that is the color it was originally and it is such a pain to change the color...there always seems to be a place here or there that you can tell it was changed. Anyway, I am going red with it so I decided to go all out.

I wish I had the overhead console! Its a 4V Cleveland, its pretty much stock except a cam, intake and carb. I am seriously considering headers but other than that the car is pretty much original.

    WOW!!!

That's a sharp looking engine!! Looks like somebody's doin all the good. It's looking really good Mr. Pollard. I really like the Cougar also. Your project is coming along so well; makes it look easy. Well, anyway, it's looking really good, and coming together nicely for you. Congradulations on that thing!! Take care.......Country

    I like...

...Cougar Eliminators. Would that happen to be a original
display model of the stuffed Cougar from Mercury?
They are quite the collector's item I believe.

I don't know why they aren't more valuable compared to
the Mustang, the Cougars are nice cars.

Nope, i got the stuffed cat at walmart...I think it was $10. I sold off all my mustangs to finish up the cougar. Even as a basket case it drove and handled better than most mustangs. I would never bash mustangs but the cougar won me over and now the Mavericks have gained A LOT of respect from me...I cant believe it took me this long to notice these cars.

Very nice j, the red is a nice touch, it makes everything else really stand out. Good to see you making some progress on it, maybe we see it at roundup?
