I posted the below pics and info in another thread earlier, I finally located the owner and he told me to make an offer, what do you think it is worth. Claimed it ran when parked, 302, headers, aluminum intake and 4 barrel, Auto in floor, high back buckets, NOT a GT. Has big dent on roof, needs hood, grill front bumper, drivers side door and fender. Quarters, floor and trunk seem solid. What do you think?

Here is earlier post and pics:
Was in Alabama this past week and waitress at local resturant told me where there was a comet like mine except blue. Went to the house and the house is vacant (looks to be uninhabitable) and the neighbor said the man gave it to his son that lives in Birmingham (100 miles away) and that he wouldnt get rid of it so looks like another car rusting away. Left my phone number anyway in hopes owner gets it.

well if it's that rough, look at it as a parts car and offer something around 500-800

    (like what Craig said, lol)

1500-2000? I couldn't dream of spending that much on a car in that shape, but thats me. Like my signature says, 665 for a running car, that includes buying it and all the things weve bought for it.

Talked to him today and ended up offering $800 and he said that wasnt even close, I don't think he really wants to sell it, it will probably rust away right where it is. But it is his....

I'd give $20 for the hood scoop.
