Does anyone know if this looks good or will work with a 3.5" backspacing? Any pictures? Thanks, I'm going to look at some wheels tonight. I've been searching for days and I can't find where anyone is runnig 15x8" rimsw up front

Craig told you his opinion, and it is mine also. An 8" wheel up front, with that backspace will stick outside the fender, and rub, or at the least look bad. I have an 7" wheel, with a 215 X 60 X 15, with a 4.5" bs, and it works out ok. I had a 225X60X15, and it rubbed on the front of the fender. Hope it helps.

If you don't want an opinion....don't ask for it.

    I wasn't a smart ass 9 years ago. I only started that about 7 3/16 of a year ago. :D

I have no clue what window lace you are talking about.....but I know I would not have sold "shrunken trash" unless I told somebody that is what I was selling them. (Hey...sometimes that is what people want.)

We say "try a search" because the question has probably been answered 5 million times already and "we" don't have the energy to answer it for the 5 million and oneth time.

I was having a moment and I'm sorry. They do rub even with 215/60/15 which is too small for an 8" rim. I guess it was around the year 2001... 7ish years. I was after information and ended up with an opinion. The window molding / weather strip one was red and painted black, the other was actually black, I also bought 2 tan door panels which needed paint anyway (that was your point) and I painted my stock window molding. Craig, sorry. Your the first to reply to many post and when I saw your response it was like that guy in Happy Gilmore who would popup right when Happy was taking a shot. I don't go here that ragularly so I shouldn't be a jerk and I respect your input. Thanks.

In my defense, I'm sensitive and you used the smartass i:Dcon

I'll take opinions on whether or not to stager the backspacing... more on the front then in the rear. I've decided to get whatever I want and buy it new. 15x7 3.75" backspacing all around ... 205/60 front, 215/60 Rear

or do I get new tires too and go 7" front 8" rear

It's a public board.. he can be "sensitive" if he wants, no rules against that.

Just as long as he goes by the board rules.

In which case, he needs to read the rules, as transaction disputes should be done in PM or email, not on the public board

With 3.5" backspace, your car will look like a skateboard, or a rollerskate. ;)
