If anyone is junking a 4 lug Maverick or Comet, please contact me. I want the front hubs. No drums or bearings, just the hubs and lug studs. I am working on a disc brake conversion to retain the 4 lug set up. Something anyone can do with shop tools and some fabrication skills. I've already found a 10 rotor that will work but the hubs will need some machining. I have a metal lath but I already did one hub with a 4" grinder and it worked fine. I'd like to stock pile some 4 lug hubs and machine them on my lath so I can offer them to those that dont have the tools to do them themselves. Any help is always appreciated.

    Thanks

thats great that you would do that Dennis (y)
For those that cannot do it themselves, will you do it like a core?
    Send you the old hubs?

I have a 4 lug pair you can have...not sure how soon you need them or a cheap way to get them to you though. Let me know if interested.

Right now the plan is to use S10 Calipers. They are cheap and easy to mount. As soon as I can get to a junk yard and pick up a set, I will know more. What I want is once the hub is modified and the caliper bracket made, off the shelf parts will all you'll need to buy to do future brake jobs.
