hey guys, the turning signals on my 73 grabber quit working all together. I looked in my 72 owners manual to see if there was maybe a fuse that blew and...nothing.. it doesn't show a fuse in the fuse panel for the turning signals. I checked the flasher relay (round can under the dash) by swapping it with a known good one from my 72 and that didn't fix the problem... anyone know if there is really a fuse in the panel for the turning signals and if so which location does that fuse live (just so I don't have to take each one out and check it)... Any other ideas from past troubleshooting experience would be GREATLY appreciated as well.

If there is no fuse and the blinker relay isn't bad I am at a bit of a loss as where to go next... I guess I should have bought a copy of the turn signal troubleshooting guide for Mavericks and Mustanggs that was just up for auction on Ebay, but I didn't really think there was that much to the dang turn signal circuit in these "Simple Machines"

Any Ideas please just shout them out

There are two flashers one for the turn signals and another for the emergency flashers. The turn signal flasher is farther up under the dash almost behind the instrument cluster.

yeah I know there are two flasher relays.. I will have to double check and make sure I have the correct one... I am pretty sure that I checked the correct one because I turne the turn signal on in the 72 (one with workign turn signals) and pulled the relay that was clicking and took it over to the 73 and plugged it directly into the same location on the 73 as it came out of in the 72 and I also put the relay from the 73 into the 72 and the turn signals in the 72 continued to work in the 72 as they did before bot even with the relay out of the 72 the turn signals in the 73 still do not work.... but it never hurst to double check thanks

Turn on the 4-ways and verify all bulbs flash !
then you know at least bulbs and all sockets are in working order.
Do you get any lights when turning on turn signal?
Lit bulbs not flashing or anything ! ( can indicate flasher or flasher circuit has a problen)

well that is part of the problem there is no hazard light switch, the hole where it used to be is there but no switch. I am just going to have to pull the steering wheel and start tracing wires...

As far as what happens when I turn the turn signal on..... it is absolutely NOTHING... no indicators, no lights, no click click, not NOTHING... but I do have tail lights and Brake Lights so I know it's not the sockets or bulbs or a ground problem with the lights themselves.. it has to be in the turning signal/emergency flasher circuit

Sounds like you may need to replace the turn signal switch assembly.
