    No hurry on my part, that's for sure. My project has been on the back burner for about 12 years :D I don't think another week month, or year will hurt any.

    Don't mean to hijack your thread...How are things in Wilmington...hometown, but, left in 1965...been back a couple of times as Mom and sister still there...NOT the same town:cry:...too hectic...keep up via Star-news site...sounds worse than here in Springpatch, IL...:(..

    i got a BAD AZZ set of headers today...:thumbs2:
    they are so bad that i'm going to put my mockup motor/tranmission back in the car tomorrow...i have got to see these bad boys on the engine...

    Guess I be riding down to your house. I know they look sweet in the box...can't wait to see them installed. Do I need to bring another cylinder head & bolts? I'll try and get there around 9:30-10:00

    I try not to go to Wilmington. I go to Southport for all the necessities, and work in Bolivia. To much traffic in Wilmington.

    ...well, we put my mockup motor/transmission back in the car.( thanks Jeff) :Handshake
    the set of headers i got didn't fit...
    we went back to Summit this afternoon and looked some more...:whew:
    the counter guy pulled up my Summit history and saw where i have tried...17 sets in 5 days (165 miles round trip X5)...and my friend Jeff was there with me all the way...:yup:
    I have tried to get in touch with Jamie at Doug Thorley, but have had no luck...:huh:

    i went by a friends house today and picked up another set to try...
    called Jeff on the way there and he suggested i swing by his house and we go to......................................Baby Janes...and eat.Thanks Jeff had a great time...(y) we went and ate, then back to Jeffs to get my truck. left there and ran by Summit
    ( it was on the way home) :rolleyes:
    more on the header fit/not fit later...
