I'll be rolling with a stock I6 for awhile, so what can I do to get a little power out of it. I know of someone who had a slant 6 in a duster that had a modified intake, 2 barrel carb, cam, header, and strait exhaust and it was a lot of fun for 6 cylinders. So any specific recommendations for a similiar build for the Maverick 200CI I6. Thanks.

clifford performance should have headers and perhaps a 3x1 intake setup
junkyard turbo would mostlikelt cost less and be more cool
that and a progressive alki kit would do nicely

since most I6 parts are so expensive and really dont have that much affect on a stock motor your better off just keeping it in good running order and saving up your money for a 302

You can have the intake log machined to accept a two barrel Ford or Holley with a flat plate adapter and the air cleaner will clear the hood.
That mod and a set of headers and a mild cam will get you enough HP to notice.
Couple that with a TransGo 40-2 shift kit and you will be losing traction on the 1-2 shift.
