if i were to put 15's on my 74 maverick would i have to do anything to the suspension? what about the speedo? im looking to get some wheels and tires soon too. im prob gonna go with american racing tailgunners. i like the look and the price. im gonna use it as a daily driver so i dont wanna have to worry about anything when i have to park it and leave it somewhere.

I am running no spacer plate on front or rear wheels. They do not rub anywhere. Rears did rub before rear leafs were rearched, but with 1 1/2 inches over stock height really brought the car to life. Only bad thing now id when I get it all done in the GT trim the factory 14 alum wheels (if I ever mount them on the car again) will look very small in rear wheel openings.

I'm not sure about the rear spacing on the 15 x 8 Magnums. I think it is 4-1/4'?

The company that makes em makes all of em, I think it is Wheel Vintiques. You can get em at all the Mustang houses, although they aint cheap. I wanted wheels that looked like they came from the factory, and the magnums from 77 were 14 x 6 with trim rings. Not only are they too small for my tastes, but it's hard to find nice ones.

With 255's they will rib on the leaf in corners, but a spacer will help.

Max, that is a great second shot!

The big bumpers even look good with that color scheme.

I thought about converting to smaller bumpers, but the scheme is very much mid-70s and it might look funny.

Besides, when it comes to bodywork, I would like to introduce you to my money pit!!
