Hey yall new to this forum but, live in the central FL area, dont currently have a maverick/comet but the reason i joined is to learn more about these cars, im currently building a mild street/strip 351W and was planning on building my dream car with it of a classic mustang but being 17 dont have the money for that just yet, anyways at a car show (Old Town cruise in Kissimmee, FL yall should check it out) i saw a 73 maverick that caught my eye, it was painted black and looked fantastic and it made me think, well now im strongly considering building a maverick over a mustang simply because i can find a maverick in decent shape for alot less $$$$ than a mustang, any tips yall have for me while lookin would be appreciated, and any tip of people who have build a maverick into a mild to aggresive street/strip car id love to hear it or just read up on yalls build threads. Sorry for the long post, look foward to learning alot from yall!

    Mike

:Welcome: to the forms from chilly 35 deg. Wilkes Barre Pa. Mustangs are over rated. Keep your eyes open you should be able to find a nice mav. fairly easily.

    :Welcome: from Ocala,Fl.
I Hope you find a mav. A 351w is a good choice. Start looking at the posts about shaving the shock towers. If you want to have headers and be able to change plugs.
