on Pinks All OUT Outtakes?? That was quite a nice little TV spot... Showed the Maverick outperforming all those Chevy guys "trying" to do a wheelstand and the little gray Maverick banged out one helluva rear bumper dragging wheelie, dropped the frontend then pulled the front back up in the air for round two... Whoever it was, whether they are a member here or not congrats on getting your awesome car on TV
I talked to the kid,,, AN YES he did a OUTSTANDING WHEELIE! Told him about this site and was hoping he would come on. I'm not sure if my car would outdo his or not! After I broke an got fixed to late I was going to try an get in wheelie contest but I was afraid of tearing car up again. I thought it would've been cool to see dueling Mavericks doing wheelies!
yeah that would have been cool. I liked the fact that the way they showed it on TV the announcer guy comes out after them showing a bunch of sickly chevy's "trying" to wheelstand and the announcer say it's going to break his heart if he has to get a Ford to do the job right and then they show that Nasty/Awesome Maverick Wheelie... I think it really gave props to the MAverick... Which in my opinion is a very rare thing to happen.. I wish I had been taping it on TiVo
I've looked and looked and I can find all kinds of Pinks Wheelstand and Pink all outtakeds video but can't find the one with the maverick in it
He only ran 12's I think he just set it up with super steep gears. He is on the Norwalk Ohio Pinks show
