Would someone who's done it (or had it done) be able to give me an idea of how much it costs to purchase and have a Mustang II front suspension installed on a Maverick if I do all of the tear down? Then I would like to know roughly how much it would cost to purchase and have installed an 8-point cage - again if I do the prep work.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

It took me 2 full days to strip out the stock front suspension, measure, and weld in my R&C front crossmember, then another 4 hours for assembly of the front suspension (not including the necessary steering column mods). So figure on paying someone around 20 to 24 hrs labor to get it rolling again. No cage, so can't help you there...

I'd say plan on $750 - $1k for the cage. Including pipe and install. P>S> Don't skimp here. This may be needed to save your life. Whoever does it needs to know what they are doing.(y)
