I have seen those with "427" logos, on eBay.
That is the first I have seen without logos.

Does PAW have a website, or do they still want folks to shell out money for a catalog? I have refused to do so because if they want my business, I shouldn't have to give them money just to be able to buy from them. With the internet being so prominent nowadays, I don't see how they can continue their old ways and stay in business.

Aluminum is the way to go.

Is PAW still in business? Drove by their store a few weeks ago and it was gone.

    I have no idea.
They have been around since at least the 70s.
I would have done plenty of business with them, except one time I tried, and they said I had to buy a huge catalog from them, and pay shipping and handling for it. I swore right then that I wouldn't do business with them until I could do so without being charged. Make sense.
I told the person on the phone, and she was just rude and didn't care.

This was probably 15 years ago.
I never cared one way or another since.
I am surprised they lasted as long as they did with that customer service.

Wow, they have a website!! Growing up reading Car Craft, and Hot Rod, they seemed to be the place to get everything. Now with the internet, Summit gets my business.

Wow, I just checked that link out and noticed a few things...
They aren't inexpensive anymore. Years ago, before the net, they were inexpensive.
I suppose when they stopped requiring you purchase a catalog for 15 bux shipped, they had to up their prices to make up for it.

Also, they used to have everything and anything you could imagine. I notice now their total number of items available for sale is really small. Limited available parts for sale, and high prices. About time for them to give up.

Even before the net, Summit would send you a free catalog on request.
I have been with them ever since. I found Summit right about the same time PAW blew me off as a potential customer.

Back then RHS, Comp Cams, Lunati, Jegs, Summit, Offy, and several others were happy to send you a catalog on request.

hi fellas!!!! they have(or had) them on ebay this past summer with the "427 logo" or the plain... for some reason they would not accept pay-pal so I sent a money order...expensive at around $240.00 USD,that includes shipping... PAW was the only place I have seen them for sale at the time... I wanted to match those valve covers with the Shelby Cobra "T" oil pan, but the one I want is a no logo "T" oil pan in aluminum... but their is not such animal made, so I bought a polished oil pan...
