?Comet Grills?

Whats a good Comet grill worth these days? I have 4, and they are all excellent condition (no cracks, no missing pegs), and I doubt I'll ever own a Comet that I'll use them on. Just thought I'd ask.

Are any of them GT grilles?
They bring a bit more money as I'm sure your aware of.

As for a price, I was offered $75 for a plain comet grille a few years back.

 

Practically worthless. As a gesture of goodwill I am prepared to take one off your hands, for free of course. Maybe I can make a birdfeeder for the kids or something...

 

I was thinking, that since I'll be in the USA in a few weeks, I could always ship them out when I get there (or leave them at Franks house )....I might just toss them in the back of the pick-up, and anyone that can plead a good case, might just get one for the price of shipping. I don't really need the money, so I may just do that.....

 

But please, don't "just toss them".

my brother is building his comet on a high school senior's budget (if that's even a budget, lol) and he's in need of one.... how's that for a good case?

 

ya i got my new grill at a swap meet. pick it up for $35. got home and painted it gloss black.
