exhaust question, will shorty h pipe and long tubes from 5.0 fit

    1971 maverick grabber
    I found a set of BBK long tube headers with a shorty H pipe for $150 on craigslist by me. Will these fit my maverick with a 302 in it. Thanks alot guys!!

    Not likely. The tubes on a late Mustang header come away from the head before turning down. Thus they will likely hit the shock towers.

    that was my fear, but I figured i would ask because the parts are at such a good deal, and BBK is a pretty good product. Thank man

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    He is right they wont, i got some for free and tried them with no luck.........

    70 mav, 71 grabber, 73 Comet, 2004 f-250 crew cab diesel, 2001 f-250, 2004 explorer, 2007 Gold Wing trike.
    Headers for a Maverick are pretty much Maverick Specific. Most others will not fit.:)
