sorry for posting this thread on here but it seems like i cant post on the meet section for some reason. Im setting up a Maverick/comet meet in the Bay Area, probably its gonna take place in Daly City at Starbucks on Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA around 9pm -12am. the date is undertermined for now becaure it depends on the weather of the week, but im looking at either FEB 20/21/27/or 28 of 09. this spot is where most car meets are taking place and ive never seen Ford owners get together, so lets make this happen. Its a cold chilly place so gear up with warm clothes, theres coffee to buy so that should keep us warm while we hang out, chill, and check each others ride. must bring your ride for the meet. Post a reply if your thinking, theres a possibility, or for sure that your goin to this meet. Also on your post, include what you can, wanna, or might bring as in parts to trade, sell, or wanting to buy from other mamber. P.S. You think it is nasty there? i dont think i can get the grabber to one until at least late april cause there could be random snow storms blocking the passes even in this drought year until july. i may still drive down in my truck though if enough bay area guys confirm.

I'd like to attend but the car is still sleeping for the winter. Plus finances aren't here right now to play with the her. Maybe later in the year if I still own the car.
its not too bad of a drive. depending on the date I might be able to make it! I have front and rear valence that's still not spoken for, I can bring that.
All things considered, i am going to call off on this gathering and use the time to try and get the engine back together and the little details fixed so i can drive down later in the year. i think i will shoot for that car show in june that scotty is talking about. if you have another between now and then and the grabber is running(which it should be) i will make a point to attend.
i think february is not a good month also so i have to push it back.... perhaps towards the summer instead for a nice weather condition.
