Been registered on this site before and of course life has its twist and turns that takes us away fom important things like my son and my 75 mav. We picked this up as a barn find and what a find it was! 75 mav with a 250 six auto. 66,000 miles Grampas car that only got drove to church and maybe his girlfriend(s) house. Anyway we have a 302 on the stand thats 30 over with a mild grind ,alum air gap and a 650 to get her to roll. We are looking for a set of frame mounts and I beleive we are ready to put some fire under this little girls apron! This will be my sons first street legal car as he gets his licence in oct 09. He has launched a jr drag for a couple of years and can back a dually with a 24' trailer into most spots designed for compact cars, so I have all the faith in him that he will respect and take car of his first really fast car. HE WILL BE MONITERED. All in all good kid. So thats a little about us and I do thank all you people with so much good info. It makes things alot easier for guys like us , and of course passing solid info on is what these fourms are about. So thanks to all who have help and will help! Mitch and tanner.

hey there i got a simmilar find on a 1976 maverick only one owner on it my dad got it for me too and let me tell you if youre sone likes his mav as much as i do mine it will be the best gift ever good luck finding youre parts
Thanks all for the welcome, we"ll get some pics up here in the near future it was -28 degrees outside and its though to take decent pics in the garage. still lookin for frame mounts found some at crites in ohio, looks like maybe the best bet. anyone know anything about those mounts? thanks again, Mitch
to the board. Just like the 73 Comet I got. Only 58,000 original miles, all city driving. Is a factory 302 car. Got lucky & only had to rebuild the motor. Had hard miles on it. I did the .030 over on her also. It's always great to have a good find..... Enjoy & lets see some pics.....
