The entire drive train has been replaced, definitely not original,
2 things that stuck out to me was the Trunk looks like it was recently sprayed and the brake cylinder and cap looks a little crappy for 1800 miles and a climate controlled storage facility.

    Saw that one earlier.

I didn't look at the link, but I know the one you're talking about.
Yes folks, this is definately a fine example of a numbers matching original...

I saw that one for sale in Southern California a couple years back. They were advertising it as an original Grabber that Holman Moody had modified. There are Holman Moody decals on it for what ever that's worth.....

The mileage could be actual if the car was purchased new and used strictly as a drag car. I would be curious how the front end is since the shock tower supports are not installed.

I really like that color combination but a black engine compartment on a 1973 Maverick is not factory. Possibly some fabrication was done to get the 351C in there and it was painted black during the engine swap.

I'd say if the drivetrain is 100% functional with no issues I would definitely pay $7500 for it. It does appear extremely clean (I would guess the front buckets have issues since he did not include a picture).

Here's one of the pics I saved from the ad I saw it in before... The outside ones look like the ones on ebay, so nothing different there.

I stand corrected - the front looks just as nice as the back ..... That is a nice car ...

If that is a true Holman-Moody conversion, they should still have records of it. I'd be curious to see if it is for real. If it is, in fact, a H-M car, it would be worth what they are asking, most likely.
